[00:00:00] Welcome to this week's episode. We are here at episode 77, not quite, episode a hundred, but so far from the beginning. This episode is all about celebrating along the way, not just when you hit the big goals, but during the process.
And it's also about what keeps you going when you don't see the results right away. When you're not at the end goal right away. Sometimes you might not even know exactly what the end goal is. There are all different. Types of goals you might set out to do, or you might set a goal and think your end goal is something, but somewhere along the way that changes and it is all perfect.
And so today we are going to dive in a little bit more for that. It takes a lot to create a po. Podcast, podcast to launch a podcast, to [00:01:00] record it every week, to edit it, to do all the pieces, and even if, if you've listened from the beginning, even just starting, this took a long time. There was a lot of thought and I want to, and I'm not sure, and all of those things before I even just started.
And there have already been some changes along the way. I have shifted. There isn't an opener anymore to these episodes 'cause I've just letting it. Breathe and have some space there. And diving right into the episode while I really come to alignment and come to understand more for myself how the direction I want this podcast to go.
In the beginning when I started, I had an amazing virtual assistant who is my podcast editor, and I have since shifted to doing it on my own and.
This has been so [00:02:00] eye-opening in so many ways. If you have ever listened to your voice
and it bothered you a little bit, listening to a podcast and getting used to your voice is so helpful. It is also very helpful when I edit episodes and can hear. Things that I'm like, okay, there is a spot for improvement for a shift.
And so seeing my own growth in that way is also to be celebrated.
I would be lying if I didn't say. There have been numerous times where I've been tempted to just stop.
From that place of maybe this isn't really making a difference. Maybe not enough people are listening, but something. Deeper. Plus just my commitment to, I'm doing at least a hundred shows and then I can make a real decision about what I wanna do, kept me going. So sometimes setting a goal, and I did take a break [00:03:00] for summer.
I think maybe I took a break for winter break too. You're allowed to take breaks, but set a goal. Don't change your mind right away. See yourself through. Let yourself be surprised by whatever little improvements you are creating for yourself.
I wish I could share right now at episode 77 but I didn't, and look at me now like this is a Top 10 podcast. It's not, and honestly, when I set out to create this podcast, that wasn't even my purpose behind it. So I still myself am getting more and more clear about what I wanna create, what's happening, but there is a deeper sense of alignment and peace, and there's power in just showing up to do work that you feel called to do that feels aligned for you.
It's similar to if you have a desire to lose weight and you set out with a goal. Of working out [00:04:00] for a certain number of days a week, or maybe there's a workout program and you're like, I'm gonna see the program all the way through, or I'm gonna track my food for the next 30 days. Or setting some goal that is concrete, for example, with the podcast, a hundred episodes.
That moves you closer to where you wanna go. You're gonna feel along the way. You're gonna learn lessons, you're gonna become more of the person that you wanna become.
For me, allowing myself to let this podcast just be and support others in whatever way they find support. Whether this podcast helps you remember more of who you are. It inspires you to take action for yourself. It inspires you to just
live more fully or start to focus on regulating your nervous system or taking care of yourself and your health. Putting yourself first.
Ultimately [00:05:00] that is my goal with this podcast. And when you start just living in alignment, what could be helpful for me to share today? What do people need to hear this week? What do I need to hear? Like talking to myself as well in many of these episode I. Showing up can become less of a task like a must do, and just more of a rhythm inside of your life.
The same thing is true for workouts or your habits with eating or sleep. All of these pieces really taking care of yourself. You want them to become just an aligned action, and when you focus too much on just that extrinsic, you know, that external result.
We sometimes lose the power in living, in alignment and showing up just to take care of ourselves and to do the thing. And of course, the external follows when you're in alignment, taking action. So let yourself breathe. Sometimes it is [00:06:00] great to have external goals.
But starting to live from a place of what do I wanna do? What do I wanna create? Who do I wanna be? How do I wanna show up? In and of itself, and then doing that every day is so powerful. I recently heard something and I have read a lot and listened to a lot about manifestation, abundance, all of those things, and something really powerful I heard recently was like, write down one big thing that you truly desire.
And if you've ever done sort of a mind map, think about this like a mind map. Visualize it in your head if that's helpful. And you write down that one thing in a circle. It could be $5 million. It could be a loving relationship. It could be your dream house. It could be an amazing vacation somewhere. It could be whatever.
It's, write it down something big that you want. No judgment of what you want. Everything is allowed to be, and then little branches like [00:07:00] a sun. Going off of those. Write down all the ways you would feel if you had that thing. If that thing was here right now, in reality, maybe it's really fulfilled.
Maybe it's really free. Maybe it's so supported. Maybe it's really safe. Maybe it is overjoyed. Maybe it's every day is amazing. Maybe it's just like really loving and happy. All of these things about how you're gonna feel, and you can go into more detail if you want as well. I'm not doing that here because there's so many little nuances of detail depending on what you want.
Maybe inside of it, it's losing 50 pounds or, being the most toned I've ever been in my life, whatever. It's. Write down how you're gonna feel. Now, those pieces coming off, those are, that's the recipe. And if you've ever followed a recipe, like those are your ingredients, those are the steps to take.
Like [00:08:00] we think that once we have the thing, the big thing in the center, that is when we'll feel all of those ways. But oftentimes it comes from the rays coming off of that sun. So first you start just figuring out how can you feel more joyful now, how can you feel happier now? How can you feel more safe and fulfilled?
How can you start to be in the energy of all of these feelings? And you, of course, hold the desire in the center, but you don't let that desired result. Keep you from feeling as good as you wanna feel, and just from shifting your energy into that feeling that desired result is inevitable. Of course, it's gonna start making its way to you because you're vibrating at that energy at that place for manifestation.
Of course, I'm gonna talk about manifestation on an abundance, on a spiritual level because this is episode 77, and of course there [00:09:00] is also a symbolic meaning behind repeating numbers.
If you believe in angel numbers or if you don't, they could be helpful, but 77 sometimes can be seen as a sign. You're in alignment with your higher purpose. It's a cosmic nod, the steps you're taking, even if they feel small, they feel uncertain. They're exactly where you're meant to be.
77 can show up in. Your life when you're expanding, you're growing towards greater wisdom, greater understanding,
and it's just a reminder that even if results haven't shown up in the material world yet, 77 suggests like your energy or dedication, your heart are being supported behind the scenes. Everything is on its way to you. So if you've been drawn to this episode. Whether you're listening to me for the 77th time or the first time, like this is a sign for you, you are meant to hear this.
You [00:10:00] are so supported in ways you can see and ways you can't see, and good things are on the way for you, so keep showing up. And I love the idea that you can also sometimes show up in uncertain ways. You just show up. You don't necessarily know why you clicked play on a podcast or why you're pulled or called to do certain things.
But let this just be a reminder to stay open to the signs, the synchronicities, and all of the messages that are happening around you. So I feel like 77 also happens to be my daughter's Jersey number in soccer. She really wanted the number seven, and actually when she was younger. She wanted her number to match her age each year, so one year she, I think she got six when she was six.
She might have even gotten five when she was five, six when she was six, and then she got seven and she's like, okay, seven's gonna be my number. But then she ended up on a team with another little girl who wanted seven, and so she wasn't able to get seven. And [00:11:00] she's like, then I guess I'll take 77.
And I'm like, oh, that's even like seven. Seven is actually even better. There is more magic in 77 than seven. And I often tell her.
She is magic within and of herself, so there's nothing she can't do.
And so of course, 77 is the perfect number for her, and then I allow that to inspire me. That of course, if I'm gonna say that to my daughter, like I better believe that for myself as well.
Because why not? So if you have children, I also encourage you to, if you're gonna believe anything is possible for them, like you have to start by believing it for yourself and showing up as your most full, happy self. All of those things, all of those pieces of the recipe, if you will, if we go back to whatever it is your heart desires.
So what else keeps us going when we're on a path? When we're [00:12:00] feeling guided to do a thing, and we might not know the end goal or when we're being guided to take action and do a thing because we know what we desire. It's like in the center of the circle. It might be lose 20 pounds, it might be find the love of my life and we might not be thinking about how we're gonna feel when we have it.
We might instead have a list of actions and things that we should do daily, weekly, whatever it is.
That is okay too, but celebrate those small actions that you're taking because oftentimes the little things are the big things. When I think about showing up for 77 episodes of this podcast.
That's a commitment to myself. That's a commitment to my listeners. That's devotion. That is a trust in divine guidance or intuition or alignment, the unfolding of whatever's unfolding. So celebrate for yourself. Anything that you have been showing up for, that you have been taking [00:13:00] those actions, doing the work, even if you don't see the end results so far.
Then be available for change. So if you feel like you, I love to say you are allowed to change your mind at any time. So if you feel.
Your goal has changed, like your desire has changed or you've gotten more clear, or something about what you're doing doesn't feel aligned anymore. I know. I will give you a few quick stories. I know for myself with coaching for health and fitness and weight loss, it doesn't feel as aligned to me anymore to show before and after pictures.
I know that this brings in.
Clients and women because it is that extrinsic result that you're seeing. But I also feel from being on social media, that it also doesn't necessarily have a really positive, uplifting feeling. It often has this feeling that we're constantly living in this [00:14:00] before body, and we should be working towards this afterbody and.
I just think that it's more gray than that because you actually really need to appreciate your current body to get to any sort of change. So I have changed. I have changed that about my own coaching, trying to balance that line. I've also changed some of my offerings and I'm shifting more towards wholeness and peace.
Inner self-trust. You will see that coming up with the 21 day within which the wait list in a little more details are down in the show notes. My peace and prosperity mentorship. I'm still doing the other coaching too. 'cause I feel like they go hand in hand and wanting to take care of your health and your body and reach a goal in a way that feels good all along the process and is sustainable and lasting is so important.
And I love [00:15:00] supporting women in that way, but I've just made some changes and I am, and there is, there was. Is was, maybe I'm in process, some fear about that, but there's also liberation in evolving something you've built in making some changes. We're always growing and creating.
Having a sense of purpose or enjoyment in what you do is so important no matter what sort of job you have, whether you're a teacher or you work in an office, like having some meaning behind what you're doing and some control over the creation process and what you're putting out into the world, even if it's just to serve clients in a better way.
To make things more streamlined for your employees, whatever it is, like that has meaning and that feels good in and of itself in its creation. So for this podcast, you'll notice the name might be changing. I haven't locked in on anything yet, but it just feels aligned and right to change. Playing [00:16:00] around with the graphic, changing a little bit.
Sometimes when you can't fully commit to something like starting this podcast, I knew I wanted to start it, and it just got to a point where it's like you can't worry about the perfect name or the perfect graph graphic. You just have to choose something that you like enough. And go for it and start showing up and learn along the way.
Same thing if you're trying to look for the perfect workouts or the perfect meal plan, and you keep looking and looking and waiting and waiting. Sometimes you just show up and you either win, you get exactly what you want. It's perfect, it's aligned. Or you learn and you learn Hey, I'd like to make this shift, or let's see if this works or This sounds better to me.
It's also okay that just because something was right for you in the past doesn't necessarily mean it's right for you now, and that is okay.
Really the end goal, getting to a certain point on the scale, having a [00:17:00] podcast, having X amount of money in the bank. The end goal is an illusion in and of itself because I know from my own health and fitness journey, your body is ever evolving and changing, and your goals are gonna shift and flow over time too.
So oftentimes it's more about how we reach it,
because oftentimes we reach it and then we realize that is just another beginning. With my health and fitness or with, I can even go back farther than that with getting a certification to teach Pilates. I thought that was it. That was the end all be all. And then I'm like, Ooh, actually I'd like to dive deeper into strength training and get a personal training certification.
And then I was like, you know what? Nutrition feels like the thing. There was no end goal then. And then once it was nutrition and online coaching with nutrition and health and workouts. It was like, alright, nervous system reg regulation. Each end goal is almost like the start of a new beginning, getting to your [00:18:00] goal weight.
Then it's the start of a new beginning where you get to be like, okay, and now how do I maintain this in the most beautiful, aligned way to live and love my life?
And I often think about that with my business, which is now five years old, which I can't believe that seems crazy. And how the path that you start on can morph into something completely unexpected and even better. And sometimes when you're in that morphing stage,
it's that reminder that it's okay to shift and grow and change.
I always like to hold the idea that it is always this or something better because it's easy to see in hindsight how things worked out. But oftentimes when you're in it, there can be some struggle right there, and if I can just remind myself things are always working out, then why bother?
Why waste your time being on such a struggle in the in-between, right? Find joy, find all those [00:19:00] feelings. Think about that recipe, what you're creating for yourself, and find ways to be in it now because your life is happening right now.
It is almost like when you're following Google Maps. I do sometimes like to see the whole route so I can know like big freeways I'm gonna get on or. An overall sense of where I'm going, but when I'm actually driving, like in process to my destination and Google Maps are like giving me the next steps, I am really just focusing on the next step.
So for yourself. Don't worry so much about the whole map. Do set something in there, right though you do wanna, you're not just gonna take off and be like, drive me wherever. You're gonna set an end goal for me with this podcast. Really the end goal. It's not an end goal like at all by any means, but the big goal is like a hundred episodes, and I don't [00:20:00] necessarily, when I set out for the goal of a hundred episodes, I didn't need to map out what every single episode was gonna be about.
I think I did write down at least 30 episode ideas to make sure I had enough to get started, but then it's like just about the next step.
Making it here to 77 episodes is because I took just one step at a time not knowing how to start a podcast. I did. I was fortunate to have a VA who also was a podcast person. I. But after that is okay, just one step at a time. What can I use to edit? What am, where am I gonna host my podcast? I'm just gonna record one episode.
I'm just gonna record an episode every week
and I wanna one appreciate any listener weather. Today is your 77th episode. Your 30th episode, your first episode. I am so thankful for having you here. [00:21:00] Being a part of the journey, and I hope that wherever you are at in life, whatever, number 77 on the way to a hundred, or whatever small wins you've been having, or actions you've been taking that are moving you where you wanna go, I hope you can feel some gratitude, some celebration for yourself today.
Just celebrating right here where you are, not where you think you should be, not what you think you should be doing, or thinking about the gap of how far you have left to go, just celebrating how you've shown up for yourself and how far you've come, and then trusting and believing. You're listening to episode 77.
You are so supported and everything is working out for you and good things are on the way. And if you feel so-called, you can check out all the ways to work with me down below in the show notes, as well as getting on the wait list for [00:22:00] within coming soon. And I will talk to you next week for number 78.
