Ep 29 - Is clean eating a key to lose weight, or is it making you fat?

There is an ongoing debate on whether or not clean eating is the key to your weight loss and fat loss progress. This is a debate that has been going on for a while now since some fitness gurus believe that all you need to achieve your health and fitness goals is a diet based on whole foods, and others, consider this a terrible idea that can put you through a calorie surplus without even noticing it. 

In any case, after years of trying "clean eating" in my health and fitness journey after kids, and going through education in nutrition to figure out what would be best for me and my fat-loss clients, I decided to record this podcast episode with all you need to know about clean eating, and whether or not is the way to go for your fat loss journey. 

In this episode you will find: 

- The actual goal of clean eating and how to integrate it into your diet and the diet of your family (especially if you have small kids) 

- How the season you are in your life determines how "clean" you can eat, regarding important factors related to stress, sleep quality, free time, etc. 

- The importance of awareness or mindful eating when it comes to "whole foods" and "clean eating" and three takeaways I want you to have present when choosing how to design your diet.
