Vacations should be joyful. But so often, women return from them feeling like they’ve lost progress, fallen off track, or need to “make up” for how they ate or moved (or didn’t). Sometimes they even feel this way before they've left.

But here’s the truth: rest, joy, and yes, gelato, are part of a healthy life—not the opposite of it.

Your vacation doesn’t have to be a break from your identity as a healthy person. In fact, when you shift your mindset from “all or nothing” to “most of the time,” everything gets easier. You start enjoying your time off and trusting yourself to come back with ease.
