Consistency does not work for me, am I the problem? 

 

The women I work with have the following in common: They are in their late 30s or early 40s. They have tried to lose weight with strict plans. They have lost the weight with those plans, but have regained it all in almost no time. 

The client who inspired me to record this podcast episode is not an exception. This is why I want to share with you the reflection that has come to mind after working for three weeks with her, after she saw the scale going up, and felt like nothing could work for her anymore, since she has tried it all already.

This used to freak me out as a coach! 

 

My role as a coach is to support the women who decide to take a leap of faith in their life and start a journey towards their ideal weight, which means: feeling better in their skin, loving what they see in the mirror, having more energy and a healthier lifestyle for themselves and their families. 

But throughout the years I have been working as a coach I have encountered several challenges, one of them being: how can I support women who have tried it all in the most holistic way for them, so not only their physical well-being improves, but they see improvement in other areas as well.

  • How you can step into the scale, see it go up, and not sabotage your progress. 
  • The one thing you need to know is that is more important than consistency when it comes to weight loss.
